Washington Butler is a Puyallup native who was interested in arts and culture from an early age. She participated in singing contests she performed in the school's theater program and was a singer in the choirs. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles and studied theatre at the University of Southern California. For one year and a half, she played Belle the Princess in Beauty and the Beast. The film will also be filming at Copenhagen Denmark as well as New York City. In June 2012, she was joined by Michael Biehn in the Los Angeles shooting of Treachery. Butler appeared in The Demented, a 2013 horror film starring Michael Welch, Kayla Ewell and Michael Welch.
